Oooookay. Jules did not like being lost. At all. Quite in fact, being lost was probably the worst thing that could ever happen for him, because it meant he wasn't in control, and he already had control issues without Mother Nature taking things into her own hands and aggrandizing the problem. Left eye twitching every few seconds, he faced Reece again, hands balled into tight fists.
"No, I-did-not-get-'us'-lost," he hissed through clenched teeth. "I'm just... getting my bearings."
Damned if he'd ever admit it, though. Poignantly ignoring the situation, he walked on, passing Reece without a glance back and marching off through underbrush, underbrush, overgrowth, and more underbrush, only serving to realize that it was A] getting late abd B] getting darker as he went along.
"Fuck."

Reece smiled. Reece knew the way back. He had dropped his joints all over the place on the way there, they mostly fell out of his pocket. he smiled and he headed a different route then Jules. He saw one of his joints and just followed that. He started to skip and sing something like, 'follow the joint road'.

It took Jules a little while to notice the path of joints scattered on the path that was supposed to lead them out; he didn't realize it until Reece actually began skipping past him, singing something too slurred for the other to hear. Upon registering that there was a direction to follow, he simply shoved his hands into his pockets, scowling darkly.
"The hell is your problem? You're... rrgh..." But he trailed off, figuring it'd be best to not piss off the crazy when they were alone in a forest. "You're... surprising."

Reece stopped skipping and turned around. "Shut up Asexual..." He started to laugh, He couldn't believe that's what jules was. It was funy to him, when he was high. He started to walk again. He looked down at the gorund. every ten feet there was a joint. In the morning, he would follow the joints. So he always cared extras in his pocket. Jules was really weird to him. he said he liked him, and now he was getting all pissed. Yeah well, he couldn't balme him really.

Rolling his eyes, Jules continued walking, resisting the urge to just bop Reece upside the head and be done with it... but that would be mean, and he'd resolved to be civil, so he refrained. Oh well. Not that he minded being taunted -- at least this kid knew what asexuality entailed. He'd had to explain it to more than a dozen people in the past.
"Why are you following me?" he asked, turning back to Reece and pushing a low branch out of the way. "I don't remember saying you could come with me."

Reece sighed. "For the last time, I am following the joints!" Well, the Joint's started to disappear. Then came the lights from the school. There were sure to be night classes. "Don't flatter yourself." He started to skip, although with a slight annoyed look on his face. He didn't follow anyone. Jules had problems.

With a dramatic eyeroll, Jules pushed another low branch out of his way, letting it swing back toward Reece in the hopes of it hitting him.
Might knock some sense into him, he thought, a wolfy grin pulling maliciously at the corner of his mouth... but having decided to be a good boy earlier prompted him to abandon all ill will as he crossed over the last stupid bushy-looking-thing and stretched, mutely bemoaning the state of his clothes.
"Good Lord, freedom!" he exclaimed, cracking muscles and bones he hadn't known could ache.

Reece had stopped a ways away. When the branch swung back it missed him. He watched jay for a little and then started to walk that way. He walked past him, heading toward the school. He was suddenly becoming tired, and he wasn't sure if Jay even cared where he went. But he still had his jacket.
